Meet COach Bradley

The Full Story
Brad Hilbert is a USA Climbing Certified Coach who gained his experience in coaching competitive climbing as the Head Coach of Triangle Rock Club in North Carolina were he spent 6 years. During his time at TRC he was responsible for 3 gyms, 18 coaches and 160+ climbers. He ran clinics and collaborative programs with many different coaches and teams in his region and nationally.
During his time as Head Coach, TRC won 12 straight Regional Championships and were fortunate to be able to participate in the USA Climbing National Championship all the way to finals every year. He has coached and written programming for youth male and female national champions and helped professional climbers move from the middle of the standings all the way to number 1 and climbing on the World Cup circuit.

In the Summer of 2017, he participated in the USA Olympic Committees high-performance training coaches accelerator program at the Olympic training facility in Colorado Springs, CO.

In the Fall of 2016, he and his coaches participated in a performance training program through Climb Strong and Steve Bechtel.

In the Spring of 2017, he participated in a performance training program and facilitated the training of his coaching staff through The Power Company and Kris Hampton.
​
He is a CPR and CWI certified climbing instructor who has organized and led group climbing trips – for both first-time and more-experienced climbers – in South Korea & the United States. He has climbed routes around the world from South Korea to Southern Kentucky.
